Learning to hang-glide can be compared to learning to ride a bicycle. In truth, the challenge is more mental than physical. Still, a pilot must learn certain fundamentals about the weather and the basic principles of the aerodynamics of flight.

At the beginning of the lessons, the student will begin by running with the hang-glider in a flat field. During this stage, the glider doesn't leave the ground, while the student learns the basics of working with the glider as a pilot. Also, the student will learn basic information about the parts that make up the glider, and other necessary equipment.

After the first phase, the student will begin training on a hill 30 meters high.

Initially, we work at the base of the hill starting at only 3 meters up. In this phase, the student will get his or her first taste of the experience of flying. With each take-off and safe landing, the student will progress step by step, starting each take-off a little bit higher than the last, until he or she reaches the top of the hill. Once he has finished this stage, the student must take off from a hill 150 meters high.He has to complete 5 flights from that altitude.

Once he has successfully completed five flights, he or she is qualified to be licensed.
